The Choice is a half-day workshop for teen girls and parents to examine how and why they make choices in their daily lives.
The event helps to uncover the many choices teens face in their daily lives – from how they dress as a projection of what they feel about themselves, to how *far* to go with a boy, to where to go to college – and supports them in choosing authentically from their values.
Parents have an opportunity to explore the choices they have to make in their roles, and the conversation generated in the event becomes a bridge of communication for teens and their parents.
“One of the conflicts inherent in having choice is that we all make different ones. There is always an opportunity cost, and I don’t know of any woman who feels comfortable with all her decisions.”
